Winter Practice Period
Mindful walking
Join Tetsuhō Christopher Kolon and the participants of Jikoji's winter practice period for a day of mindful walking. The day begins with a period of zazen, followed by kinhin in the zendo. After a silent tea, participants will embark on a three-hour mindful hike (with a break for lunch) on the beautiful land surrounding Jikoji. The day ends with zazen and a closing circle. The hours are 10 am—3 pm on Saturday, March 1.
For those who are new to Zen and mindfulness practice, there will be an orientation and instruction at 9:30 am in the small Zendo.
Participation is limited to 15 people.
